Hybrid Schedule – Les Mills Pump
After taking on a few smaller runs, I felt it was time to take on a new challenge. I registered for my first half marathon! As soon as I did that I knew that I needed a strict schedule to keep me on track. Leading up to this decision were numerous rounds of P90X, a couple 5k’s, the Get Lucky 7k, Get in Gear 10k and a mix of INSANITY, Asylum, Turbo Fire, a Tough Mudder and now Les Mills Pump. Yes, I did say Turbo Fire. It remains as one the toughest for me, mainly due to the amount of coordination that is required.
Save with the Les Mills Pump Challenge Pack.
Way before I started P90X and the other Beachbody workout programs, I was going to the local YMCA a few times a week. They periodically held Body Pump classes in one of their studios. I went to it several times and remember really liking it. When Les Mills Pump came out, I knew I had to try it for my next challenge. With the built in flexibility for walking / running, it seemed like a perfect match.
I sat down and put together a hybrid schedule to combine the two: Les Mills Pump and half marathon training hybrid. Give it a try and let me know what you think. Download your copy of the hybrid schedule here.
